Gene Anderson has been an incredible benefactor.  Locally, he has been a reliable supporter of Dixie Youth Baseball, Girl Scouts, Ducks Unlimited, the White Lake Water Festival, the Byron Gooden Bladen We Care Golf Tournament, Habitat for Humanity, the Bladen County Literacy Council, numerous churches, the local police departments, fire departments and rescue squads. ​
